Every Nation Gospel Fellowship

Our name & message

Every Nation

Every Nation

because the Christian gospel is for everybody, and we welcome people from every nation to our meetings.

The Bible teaches that the church of Jesus Christ is made up of people "purchased for God with His blood from every tribe and language and people and nation." (Revelation 5:9)

"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

Gospel

Gospel

because "gospel" means "good news" - the good news that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners and give us peace with God.

"I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes." (Romans 1:16)

Fellowship

Fellowship

because those who believe in Jesus Christ should be one family, not divided by race or culture or language or class.

"If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." (1 John 1:7)

"Here there is no Greek or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. …
15Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." (Colossians 3:11, 15)

Our message of good news for lost sinners

Jesus came into the world.

He lived for us.

He died for us.

He died to save us from sin.

Jesus rose from the dead.

Jesus gives eternal life.

The Almighty Creator God becomes ‘my God’.

We become ‘his people.’

How is this possible? How can sinners become God’s own people?

Jesus was given that name because ‘he shall save HIS PEOPLE from their sins.’ (Matt. 1:21)

As Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 8:9 You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you, through his poverty, might become rich.

Jesus gave up all that he owned as God to become man. He was born in very poor surroundings. Born in a stable, and laid in an animal feeding box. No lovingly knitted baby clothes, he was wrapped in strips of cloth.

The family relationship with his heavenly Father was broken as he took our sin on himself. Jesus cried out from the cross, ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’

Even forsaken on the cross he called his Father, ‘my God.’

As he died, he said, ‘Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.’

He had no tomb prepared. His body was laid in a tomb a rich man had prepared for himself.

The Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, had nothing when he died.

He had given everything for the salvation of those he calls ‘my people.’

The result of Jesus’ perfect obedience, even to death on the cross, is that he saved his people from their sins.

He rose from the dead, and opened the way to heaven for his people.

We who believe in Jesus as ‘my Saviour’ now have eternal life.

We have many things that even death cannot take away from us.

We have eternal life. We have Jesus as ‘my Saviour.’ We have treasure kept for us in glory. We have peace with God, sins forgiven, and a joyful relationship with Jesus.

Supremely we have the promise of the resurrection from the dead.
